We know you have been anxiously awaiting your ministry information for your Ambassador trip, and now it is here!
Know that we are excited about this partnership and the Kingdom that you Kingdom bringers will bring to these countries! Please find your country below to know which ministry you are partnering with.
If things are a bit different than I have told you before, it’s because we have made some changes to make sure you are set up with the best possible experience! Also, keep in mind, that there is still a slight possibility that changes might happen. At this point, this should be the ministry you are working with this summer. However, sometimes needs change, and your day-to-day might look different than the basic details you read here. One of the biggest lessons of ministry and missions work is to be flexible! So keep an open-mind and know that God is going to do BIG THINGS!

Guatemala (2 Week)
City: San Pedro
Ministry Host: Antionio Chavajay
Ministry Name: Antonio’s Church
Ministry Description: The team will be participating in prayer walks in the community and market, sports ministry, and ministering to local children with health needs. They will help with children’s clubs, local home visits, teaching English in the schools and sharing the gospel. It would be a great idea to come prepared with ideas for programs you can do with the kids!
Puerto Rico
City: Juana Diaz
Ministry Host: Kaylah Fosnot
Ministry Name: Camp Caribe
Ministry Description: The team will be facilitating VBS and day programs at Camp Caribe, including some sports activities, arts and crafts, and lessons/devotionals for the campers. They will also have the opportunity to support the local camp ministry in the barrios (neighborhoods) that is conducted in Spanish. This will provide a great cultural experience for them. Love often speaks the same language. Finally, there will also be the opportunity to minister to those in the community through local work projects. Be sure to bring work clothes that can get dirty!
Dominican Republic
City: Lajas de Yaroa, Puerta Plata
Ministry Host: Ruben and Vicki Dominguez
Ministry Name: Hope4theDR
Ministry Description: The team will be reaching out to the local community through VBS, English camp, and church. The first week will include set up for the summer, helping with construction projects (so make sure you bring some work clothes) and camp prep. The following weeks will be spent helping to facilitate the kid’s camp and ministerring in the Lajas community.
Peru
City: a remote region that is 45 min from Nauta; the team will travel by boat to reach this location
Ministry Host: Waldi Shahuano Flores
Ministry Name: YWAM Jungle Base
Ministry Description: The team will be reaching out to the families from the Amazon River and beyond through evangelism, building relationships, sports ministry, and facilitating VBS for the local children. You will focus on reaching two villages. There is such a need for Christian ministry among the local villages in the Amazon.
Philippines
City: San Mateo, Rizal (about 45 minutes from the outskirts of Manila)
Ministry Host: Michael and Natalie Bucher
Ministry Name: Grow International Ministries, Inc.
Ministry Description: The team will be working with Camp New Beginnings, which is a camping ministry geared towards kids living on the streets of Manila. You may also have the opportunity to work alongside local ministries in the rural mountain community in which you will be living!
Swaziland
City: Manzini
Ministry Host: Xolani Moyo
Ministry Name: Adventures in Missions Long-term base
Ministry Description: The team will be involved in three large care points developing the children through Discipleship, Church and Sustainability. The team will be working with the AIM staff/volunteers at those care points. They will also have the opportunity to minister through home visits, sports ministry and visitation in the Manzini hospital.
Jamaica
City: Kingston
Ministry Host: Ruth Smith-Sutherrland
Ministry Name: Wycliffe Bible Translators
Ministry Description: The team have opportunities for community outreach, home visits, and evangelism in the local area. You will most likely spend part of the time working alongside a camp and building intercultural relationships with Jamaican youth. The rest of the time will be spent doing community outreach, work projects, programs, and VBS in the local area.
South Africa
City: Dassenhoek (in the Durban region)
Ministry Host: Tricia Hoffart
Ministry Name: Ingane Yami
Ministry Description: Ingane Yami is a children’s village rescuing previously orphaned and abandoned children, restoring them into a healthy and vibrant family unit. The team will help facilitate the summer holiday clubs for the children and assist with hands-on projects around the village. You may also have to opportunity to minister to members of the local community by participating in events and services.
Guatemala (4 week)
City: Antigua and San Pedro
Ministry Host: Luis Castillo and Antionio Chavajay
Ministry Name: Nueva Generación and Antonio’s church
Ministry Description: The team will be participating in prayer walks in the community and market, sports ministry, and ministering to local children with health needs. They will help with children’s clubs, local home visits, visiting at the local hospital and senior center, teaching English in the schools and sharing the gospel. The team may also be ministering and reaching out to those at the local dump.
